The Tsunami Children’s Disaster Fund which was set up by the Interfaith Roundtable in December 2004 and raised funds for the victims of that disaster has changed its name to the Interfaith Children’s Disaster Fund in December 2005. It will continue to be run by Muriel Molloy of the Education for Peace organization.
Dr. Jasbir Singh Puri has suggested that the Interfaith Roundtable Children’s Disaster Fund raise money for the victims of the Pakistani quake this year and that idea has been broadly welcomed by everyone.

The organisers have expressed their hopes that the public response to the Pakistan earthquake will be just as good as it was for the Tsunami although indications are that it may not be that way. However the IFRT team has resolved to dig deeper into their own pockets and request their families and friends to assist.
We also appeal to everyone to generously donate to this fund. The Interfaith Children’s Fund hopes to make another donation to the Asian Earthquake disaster soon again.
